So, it’s been like, 2 years…

Do you ever just forget about something, or get super distracted with life in general and it kind of moves to the back of your mind for a really long time? Well, that’s sort of what happened to me and this blog. Life got crazy.

A lot has changed, guys. A lot.

Since our time apart, I got married! June 5th will mark our first wedding anniversary, and I’ve got to say, I finally found my Lorcan and I couldn’t be happier. He gets me. He understands what writing means to me. He makes me laugh and that’s pretty important, too. Also, I love him loads. We have two furbabies, Cujo (dog) and Christine (cat), and yep, they’re both named after Stephen King novels. That’s just how we roll.

Since the last time we spoke, I’ve been on a hiatus. I just wasn’t feeling it anymore, which made me incredibly sad. Anyone who knows me, knows how much writing means to me. It’s like breathing air, truly, and to have gone so long without it…I honestly have no idea how I survived.

I’m back though, and I’m glad for it, too. I’ve picked up where I left off, which includes re-writes, re-edits, re-formatting, and new covers for almost all of my books. Yes, I am that author. I’m redoing almost all of them, and I’ll feel better after it’s done.

Right now, I’m focusing on The Descendants Series. I re-released The Fire King’s Daughter just a little while ago, and now I’m almost finished with The Water King’s Bride. The most exciting part, though? I finally get to share The Ice King’s Heart with you all in a few short months.

You’ve literally been waiting 8 years for that book.

And yes, I know that you’re still waiting for Kadenburg #5 and Blood Betrayal #3. I haven’t forgotten, my friends.
